A toll road is a system that earns every second it is up, and loses every second it is down. From 2009 to 2019, our CTO led the technology of the first electronic toll collection platform on SLEX, built together with Kapsch and Hopetech. The platform handled 133M+ annual transactions and processed more than ₱8.5B in toll revenue with zero downtime, holding the uptime expectation of a utility: around the clock.
This is where “it cannot fail” stopped being a slogan and became a job description.
